Carnival International’s newest ship, the Carnival Magic, arrived in port this morning in its homeport of Tampa, Florida. The ship is on its first-ever world cruise, and is making its way to its first destination, Port Canaveral, where it will begin its 15 night/16-day world cruise.

Mardi Gras is back!
Mardi Gras arrived in Port Canaveral around 6:30 Friday morning after spending some time offshore with Carnival Liberty and Carnival Freedom. This is also the first time a ship has arrived in the United States. The new ship arrived at dawn, a major milestone not only for Carnival Cruise Line but for the entire U.S. cruise industry, which has been on hold for more than a year. The Mardi Gras docked at Carnival Terminal 3, followed by the Carnival Liberty and the Carnival Freedom, which entered the port. Terminal 3 is specially designed for the largest cruise ships of Carnival.
