After a significantly larger ship, such as the Carnival Elation or the Carnival Valor, made its debut in 2016, Carnival finally followed suit (and I repeat, finally) with a smaller ship, the Carnival Dream. The Dream is the smallest Carnival cruise ship to date, and is much smaller than Carnival’s last ship, the Carnival Breeze. This is a good thing, as the Dream is going to have a lower capacity (which now totals 8,783), but the Carnival Dream also boasts a much smaller interior than other Carnival ships.
